How does Halley’s comet find us after we have supposedly moved 34 billion miles in its 75 year cycle?

We are supposedly moving through space fallowing the sun at 52,000 mph. How does Halley’s comet even find us after 75 years. We would have moved from our position by only a whopping 34 billion miles. It couldn’t find us.
